We look forward to welcoming you at The Gog Magog Golf Club! The day will begin with a full breakfast at the clubhouse before 18 holes of competition golf across the Old or Wandlebury Course.
Located less than five miles from the centre of Cambridge, The Gog Magog Golf Club boasts two of the finest courses in East Anglia.
The Old Course was originally laid out over 100 years ago and retains many of the original features of a traditional downland links. Host to the 2025 R&A Open Regional Qualifying and the 2025 R&A Under 16 Girls Championship, the Old Course is a true test of golf, with fast running fairways and true greens. While not long on the scorecard, it is a tough test of golf, requiring accuracy off the tee and clever management around the greens.
The Wandlebury Course was built in the mid 1990’s and features large USGA style greens and is defended by not only its length, but the strategic positioning of the bunkering. A past Open Regional Qualifying Venue the course has undergone major renovations led by renowned architect Martin Ebert, with the final phase having been completed in the spring of this year.
Alongside two fantastic courses the Club has a large practice facility, clubhouse and golf shop to cater for its members and guests.
After golf the evening reception and formal dinner will be held at the stunning King’s College Cambridge, which was founded by King Henry VI in 1441. The evening starts on the back lawn while you enjoy a drink overlooking the iconic chapel. A five course meal will follow within The Hall, dating back to the 1820’s. It is one of the most magnificent and dramatic dining halls of its era. During the evening there will be auctions, draws and prizes before the floor is turned over to our host, the BBC News and Sports Presenter, Tom Williams, in conversation with Ryder Cup legend and European golfing great, Colin Montgomerie.
